The flat base has a diameter of 60mm and mounts a standard 3/8” thread that is highly versatile, working effectively with different support combinations (tripod, slider, monopods etc.). By adding the bases to various supports, and the plate to camera systems, users can quickly switch their gear from one piece of equipment to the next without having to stop to screw and unscrew various plates. For rapid kit creation, a base for any mounting unit (tripod, slider, Gimboom) and a plate for any camera system (head, stabilizers, motion controls) should be included.
