- Ruttya fruitcosa Lindau, or Orange Hummingbird Bush, is a beautiful and unusual plant. It is a somewhat rare and lesser-known, but highly sought-after plant prized for its unique, brightly colored, nectar-rich bird-shaped flowers.
- This quick-growing, caning bush matures about 6 feet in height and produces vivid orange and brown speckled blooms nearly year-round, making it a perfect colorful addition to any tropical garden. It is especially well-suited for butterfly and hummingbird gardens and wildlife habitat areas.
- Care: When mature, plant in fertile, coarse, well-draining soil or potting media in a full sun to very lightly shaded area.
