The Bussmann series JKS-60 is a fast-acting, Class J current-limiting fuse in the LIMITRON family. Typically used in panelboards and machinery disconnects, the JKS fuse provides 10x better current limitation than basic circuit breakers or fuses. The Class J fuse rejection feature to protect against overfusing (using a fuse with a higher current rating than the circuit protection requires). If the fuse needs replacing, only a Class J fuse can be installed. Fast-acting fuses are designed to respond quickly when an overcurrent event happens.
