In addition, this blade features a heavy-duty plate (46-48 Rockwell in hardness), chrome carbide cutting edges to guarantee extreme performance on steel pipes, steel rods, iron and sheet metals, anti-vibration design and expansion slots to reduce noise. The negative hook angle delivers a less aggressive and smoother cut. This tool is also produced by following precise procedures and techniques to confer greater value and allow for higher performance: tri-metal brazing, balancing and tensioning ring and laser-cutting for the steel plate. Key features include high impact strength teeth made from special formulation carbide, a triple chip tooth configuration for longevity and a close tooth-to-body ratio - 0.122 tooth to 0.098 blade plate - gives better support to the tooth. The -7 degree hook angle provides controlled cutting for a smooth finish, without collapsing channel or storm window frames. Special gullet design allows for efficient chip evacuation. The CMT Non-Ferrous Metal blade is ideal for miter, radial and table saws and gives an optimum performance cutting aluminum, brass and other non-ferrous metals. NOTE: We highly recommend using a liquid lubricant. Wax stick for lubrication NOT RECOMMENDED.
